l'Arc-en-Ciel sweet potato planting
In April 2016, l'Arc-en-Ciel (The Rainbow House) orphanage in Haiti planted 2,000 sweet potato slips. In growing the nutritious and income-generating tubers, the orphanage was also supported by the University of Fondwa School of Agriculture in Haiti which provided soil treatment support.
This initiative is so critical for the orphanage and its children, as it has been reported that Haiti is facing the worst food crisis in 15 years and government food support has dried up.
THE HARVEST HAS BEGUN!!!
